Since this is a commision I won't rat you out for not shading it, because the commisioner probably didn't pay for shading. What really stuck out on this one was the whites of the eyes. You haven't shaded anywhere else on the character, and yet you have a graient on the eyes that's dark on the top, lighter at the bottom. Why shade the eyes like that if nothing else is shaded..? And I susppect this is the fault of the character's design, but the tongue seems so, so bright that it should be glowing; same with the neon green and pink. Contrast may be intentional, but these colours would draw your eyes away from the rest of the drawing much less if they had been toned down a bit.
Otherwise your anatomy seems correct and doesn't look unnatural, the markings are spot on after viewing that ref sheet for the character, and the expression has just the right intensity; not to bored and not too comical. The pose also gets me, it's one I don't see done too often. A well drawn commission Pulse. You've improved hugely since I first started watching you.

As for the eye shading, I'm not sure why I do it, I think it just adds a nice... I don't know.. effect? Not sure. I don't always do it o:
And as for improvement, just going back a few pages in your gallery shows that you've improved quite a bit in a short amount of time.*
The eye shading just struck me as a wee bit odd... Maybe it would look better when the rest of the drawing is shaded. I don't think I've noticed it this much on other drawings of yours. Guess I'll have to look and see.
* Also slapped me in the face with intense feelings because I saw my early comments on your stuff, but that's besides the point.. :'D
